MELTED CRAYON
PEEL PICTURE
You will need:
- Two pieces of paper
- A potato peeler or bread-and-butter knife
- Old crayons
What to do:
- If your crayons have paper around them, take the paper off. Hold a crayon over a
piece of paper and peel off little bits of it so that they fall onto the piece of paper.
Use several different crayon colors.
- Place the second piece of paper over the first, so that the crayon peels are between the
two pieces of paper.
- Ask an adult to iron over the paper with a warm iron so that the crayon
peels melt. As soon as they have melted, stop ironing and take off the top piece of
paper. You will probably find that both pieces of paper have pretty patterns on
them.
